At S&R Polymer we offer Form-In- Place Gasketing (FIP) services to our customers working in the demanding areas of Defense and Aerospace. Combining our vast knowledge and experience in the rubber industry and utilizing new state of the art three axis automated dispensing equipment, S&R Polymer is well positioned to provide practical and economical solutions to our customers in the area of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) or Radiofrequency Interference (RFI) shielding.
Our capabilities and technologies have expanded to keep pace with our customers’ requirements and in addition to our FIP offering, S&R Polymer provides: Rubber Vulcanizing, Metal Machining and Laser Cutting.
Our vulcanizing division offers our customers an alternative to FIP Shielding, where rubber gaskets can be separately moulded or moulded directly onto various metal substrates.
Our fabrication division offers components machined from a variety of engineered materials. Milling, Turning and Routing are all done on our CNC equipment. Sheet metal parts are cut using our two axis laser cutter, where we specialize in cutting heavy gauge aluminum.
